Maria Bartiromo was the first American journalist to live broadcast on the New York Stock Exchange. She is the host of several well-known show to her name. She's an experienced broadcaster who has more than a decade of reporting experience about the business and economy. Her role was crucial in helping to make CNBC one among the most well-known channels in this segment. One can only conclude that this lady is destined to be a journalist after her career success. In her teens, Maria struggled to decide what profession she would pursue. Her dream was to be a singer one day and an interior designer the next. But when she discovered the excitement that journalism has to offer, she had no intention of going at her. She's not just a great journalist, but an example to women who wish to be successful in a world that is dominated by males. She was the first female journalist ever to be selected among the 50 Faces that Shaped this Decade. She also is an author and a columnist.
Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actress for film, TV and stage since the late 1970s. A gifted thespian, she has been actively involved in professional theatre for the last 27 years. She first made an appearance on stage in an off-Broadway production The Big Funk by John Patrick Shanley in 1990. In The Perfect Tribute, she had her debut TV role a year later. In 1992, when she was cast as a back-up role in the movie Basic Instinct, her career took off. It was in the movie The Firm however that she was chosen as the female lead for the first time and that too opposite actors like Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. In the 90s, she collaborated with several top industry stars including Gwyneth Palow in Sliding Doors Hugh Grant Mickey Blue Eyes Julie Andrews Relative Values. Recently she played Dr Alex Blake in the internationally famous crime drama that is a police procedural Criminal Minds.
